Valentine’s Day: Dinner for 1

I got home after teaching CXWorx and decided it was a pizza night!!  I saw this recipe from Caveman Strong on my trainer-friend Agnes’ Facebook page and she gave it rave reviews!  It definitely turned out better than the cauliflower pizza crust I tried last week…not even worth mentioning.  (Let’s forget it ever happened, mmmkay?)  This recipe is more like real pizza crust, but definitely a sweeter taste due to the coconut flour and coconut milk.  If you want to try it….

DESSERT

Chocolate on Valentine’s Day is mandatory, and since I already had a dark chocolate heart (okay…two) from Le Pain Quotidien earlier, I went for the Metabolic Effect Hot Cocoa Drink – with a kick;)

Cocoa is the ultimate craving killer and gives you a feel-good mood boost thanks to the neurotransmitter dopamine.

Mexican Hot Cocoa

1 c. Unsweetened Vanilla Almond Milk

1-2 Tbs. Ghirardelli Unsweetened Cocoa Powder

Pinch of Cayenne pepper (as spicy as you like it;)

Combine all ingredients in a small saucepan over medium heat and whisk until combined.

Bottoms up!

HAPPY Valentine’s Day.  I hope you did something for YOU today:)
